Casual Sports Coach Expressions of Interest

Applications are sought from suitable and passionate casual coaches to assist with our Sport Program within our Preparatory School.  Coaches are expected to attend all training sessions and competition events/matches which may be held at our North Parramatta location or another location within our geographical footprint.

A casual register will be created for a period of 12 months to ensure that there is an adequate number of appropriately qualified and experienced coaches who can be engaged at any time.  Please note that placement on the casual register does not constitute an offer of employment, nor does it guarantee that an offer of employment will be made.

Sports Coaches are required for both the Winter and Summer sport season.


As a Sports Coach you would be required to support the staff through the following activities:

• Provide assistance in the selection of teams
• Facilitate the skill development of team members with a range of skill levels to achieve performance outcomes
• Assist in the planning and preparation of the team for competition 
• Attend all program activities including coaches’ meetings, training sessions and games
• Have a strong interest in one or more sports with appropriate game and team building skills for coaching purposes
• Capacity to operate as a collaborative and team orientated person in a professional work environment.

In addition, it would be beneficial if you have the following:
• Completion of, or currently working towards an appropriate coaching accreditation 
• Coaching and/or refereeing experience
